It helps to know what an employer sees when they come across your profile or your application.
Employers can see
- Your match score and a breakdown of how you fit the role.
- Your structured profile — skills, education, work history and cover letter.
- Where you meet or miss the role's requirements.
Employers cannot see (until later, or at all)
- Your video answers — these stay private until an employer advances you to their review stage.
- Your contact details — your verified email, phone, CV file, portfolio and references are protected until an employer chooses to unlock them.
- Your profile if you have set it to private and have not applied to them.
| Good to know When you apply, the employer sees your profile as it was at the moment you applied. Updating your profile afterwards does not change what they saw for that application. |
