How your Paathz profile works

Your Paathz profile is the heart of how you are matched. A CV squeezes a hospitality career through a narrow keyword filter and loses most of what matters. Your profile does the opposite: it turns everything about you into a structured picture of your real ability, tied to the roles you are suited to.

What goes into your profile

• Your CV — read automatically for your roles, skills and experience.
• A cover letter (optional).
• Roles you are suited to, ranked in order of preference, plus your departments, seniority and brand experience.
• Your education and work history.
• Certifications — for example wine or safety qualifications.
• Identity — to confirm you are a real person.
• Nationality and work rights — including any visas or rights to work in other countries. This matters a lot in hospitality, where people move between regions.
• Video answers to a few role-relevant questions — strongly encouraged but optional (see Recording your video answers).

Where your skills come from

• You select skills yourself from the Paathz hospitality list.
• Paathz also detects further skills from your CV and your video answers.
• Together these build a fuller, fairer picture than a CV alone ever could.
