You control who can see your profile and what they see. By default your profile is visible to employers, which gives you the most matching opportunities — but every part of this is in your hands.
Profile visibility
- Profile visible — when on, employers can discover your profile when searching for talent, which maximises your chances of being matched. Turn it off and you won't surface in employer searches.
- This matters at senior level: a manager or director often can't afford to be seen looking until they have actually applied somewhere.
Choosing what employers see
- On the Public tab you can toggle individual parts of your profile on or off for employers: contact information, work history, education, skills and languages, and salary expectations.
- Show salary — choose whether your desired salary is shown to recruiters. It's off by default; turn it on only if you're comfortable sharing it.
Actively looking, or not
- You can set whether you're actively looking. Marking yourself as not looking hides your profile from employer searches — useful if you want to pause without changing anything else.
- Allow analytics — an optional setting that lets Paathz use your activity to improve your experience. You can switch it off at any time.
| Good to know Even with a hidden profile, when you apply to a role that employer can see your profile for that application. Visibility controls who discovers you — not who you choose to apply to. |
